We were commissioned to prepare an options appraisal and feasibility report (to RIBA Stage B) for a major refurbishment and Capital works programme at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, a thriving arts destination in the North West.

The Brewery Arts Centre opened as a visitor destination in 1972, following the conversion of the old Vaux Brewery. Since its conversion in 1972, the Brewery Arts Centre has been extended and refurbished due to its popularity and demand, outgrowing its existing accommodation.

Working alongside Cost Consultants and a Strategic Property Advisor, we reviewed and assessed existing facilities and set out design proposals of how the existing facilities could be extended, remodeled and refurbished.
