Leeds City College - Keighley Campus
Client: Leeds City College
Rance Booth Smith Architects were appointed to enhance the interior communal spaces of the new prestigious Keighley Campus for Leeds City College.
Rance Booth Smith Architects have created a fresh and striking result that fully complements the contemporary spaces. The key colours of the College's new branding have been reflected within the decorative features.
The brief stated all materials used were either made from recycled materials or are recyclable. Materials such as eco-resin and recycled glass have been employed to reflect an up-to-date approach. Bespoke mobiles have been designed to hang within the central atrium area, and unique wall decorations in contemporary materials continue the theme throughout the refectory, learning resource centre, advice and guidance centre and student lounge. The project has expanded to the design of staff offices, management suite and classroom provisions.
