Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity and is Rance Booth Smith Architects chosen charity partner throughout 2022. This is the only national charity caring for the entire family of someone with dementia through their dementia specialist Admiral Nurses. 
Dementia UK can provide comment on:
• symptoms, causes and different types of dementia
• the impact of dementia on family, friends, and wider society
• the critical importance of appropriate post-diagnostic care
• the wider health and social care landscape and what more needs to be done to tackle one of the biggest health issues of our time
We were delighted to be able to raise vital funds through their national event, Time for a Cuppa on Wednesday 4th May 2022.  The event was a great success and provided us with an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed cuppa and a chat with some valued Clients in our Saltaire based studios.  The sun shone and the cakes and conversation flowed.  Through generous donations made online and in person, the total raised was £380.00 at the time of writing, which is fantastic news!  Every pound raised helps Dementia UK to support and develop our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses so they can provide a lifeline to families when they need it most.
