Working as architects, interior designers and principal designers we undertook the design transformation of this stunning 6 storey Victorian hotel.
12 self contained one bed studio apartments were created with kitchenette, lounge / dining area and ensuite shower rooms.
All with a contemporary modern feel and colour theme with stunning sea views.
Careful consideration was taken to the design of the fire strategy by the design team due to the change of use from Hotel to holiday apartments.
Incorporating fabric upgrades, a new fire alarm system and mist detection.
New larger rooflights were installed and roof recovered and insulated to create 2 apartments on the top floor.
All rooms had the acoustic performance upgraded, new externally controlled heating system
The overall outcome is 12 stunning holiday apartments.
