Stand-alone services or in any combination to suit.

We are an innovative and proactive organisation, challenging the norm and seeking alternative solutions, so as to ensure that the optimum result is achieved. From initial design concepts to delivering a new development, we can provide our expertise and management throughout the life of the project.

The design of interior spaces can create aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically correct environments to improve the user experience, increase productivity and enhance welfare. Through refurbishment of existing spaces, we can reinvent interiors to create the right, dynamic environment.

With our in-house architectural sustainability experts, we pride ourselves on our integrated approach to low carbon design, with the aim of minimising both financial and environmental costs through skilful, sensitive design.

We are passionate about breathing new life into old buildings, whether through sympathetic restoration or by regenerating spaces with contemporary design and materials. We have over 40 years’ experience caring for listed buildings and historic structures, as well as advising on heritage funding and statutory requirements.

RBS can help to determine the viability of a site or building development for single or mixed use, to give a clear understanding of options available and budget costs. We can also establish the best strategy for development over a period of time so that elements can be built in phases.

BIM

RBS Architects are committed to helping our clients get the most out of BIM (Building Information Modelling) transforming the way we design buildings. We Work to BIM Level 2, which brings together data into a 3-dimensional model to create and manage information throughout the building’s life and provides an integrated approach to design and coordination, enabling smarter decisions by analysing both capital and carbon implications early in the design process.

“RBS worked collaboratively with the Old School Building Company, Hive and Kirkgate Community Centre to understand the clients’ requirements and translated these into an affordable design that was sympathetic to the building’s historic features.”
