The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal is a thriving arts destination set in a beautiful historic building full of charm which opened as a visitor destination in 1972, following the conversion of the old Vaux Brewery. Despite being extended and refurbished due to its popularity and demand, the centre is outgrowing its existing accommodation.
Working alongside Cost Consultants and a Strategic Property Advisor, we reviewed the Grade II Listed Building, assessed existing facilities and set out design proposals of how the existing facilities could be extended, remodelled, and refurbished.
