We were appointed as lead designers to transform the historic Grade II listed Belle Vue Mill in Skipton into a contemporary office
environment for Computershare, who were relocating.
Working within the constraints of this heritage building, we delivered full space rationalisation across 2 floors, reimagining the interior to create open-plan offices and
breakout areas that encourage collaboration whilst celebrating the building’s industrial past.
An energy-efficient heating and cooling system was sensitively installed, leaving vaulted ceilings fully exposed as a design feature.
In a commitment to sustainability, we repurposed all existing furniture, cleverly integrating it into the new layout without the need for additional purchases.
This approach not only reduced waste but also minimised the project’s environmental footprint.
The project was delivered on time, on budget and completed within just 16 weeks on site.
