Rance Booth Smith are delighted to have won the Environment Award in the small business category at the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Raising the Bar Awards 2019. It’s the 2nd year in a row that RBS scooped an award after receiving the Economy award in 2018.  The awards recognise businesses that have shown their commitment to social responsibility.

Raising the Bar, an initiative from the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce helps businesses with their social responsibility aims and allows them to document and benchmark how they help their local communities, contribute to education, the economy and the environment. The awards recognise all the hard work businesses put in to improving their local area and the region they work and live in.

Director Linda Hollings collected the award at the ceremony which took place at Leeds Civic Hall on 6th November 2019.  Linda comments “As a practice we believe in giving back to our community.  We work hard every year to improve on the community, environment, employment and education activities we support. We are very passionate about our impact on the environment and are always looking for ways we can help to reduce it. We have an environmental management system and are accredited with ISO 14001”.
